I am a fan of any place that serves food that my kids will eat, and Raising Cane's is one of them! I brought home a couple of Box Combos (4 pieces of chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw (ask to sub another piece of toast for the slaw), and a drink - and my kids loved it. The chicken is all breast meat, and very moist. The skin is crisp yet not overly crunchy (which is a turn off for my boys!). The fries are cooked to order and best consumed in the restaurant. The texas toast is very buttery!
This particular Raising Cane's location is a proud supporter of UH Athletics, and the staff here proudly show their support by wearing UH logo polo shirts. Go Warriors! -

Too Americanize. Let me clarify it, it's not in a bad way. Actually the food is great. It's just the taste I tasted and my palate feels like so-so (I can't even explain it in here). But all in all, it's good. (Should start teaching myself the adventure world of the cultural food)

Came in here because of our yelper neighbor again. He introduced me to RC (yes, my neighbor coz my husband didn't know that Raising Cane's has expanded on the island) and my husband was so excited at that time. T'was dinner time and we decided to take out 3 of The Combo Box; comes with 4 chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, 1 Cane's sauce, texas toast, coleslaw, regular drink (22oz) and that's $9.99+tax each in total. Drove back & we eat together at Ala Moana Regional Park, t'was Friday at that time so we were waiting on the fireworks display while eating our food.

First of all I thought that the chicken fingers they got in here is the chicken feet. It made me so thrilled & can't wait to grab the order. But the moment I open the plate box and had a bite, there's no bone! Confused as I am, I asked my husband and he too was confused on how come I think and ask that way. Then both my neighbor & husband explain it to me and then viola! I was awake in reality. Yeah sure, there's no chicken feet on American's menu ever. And we just all laugh.

I love the chicken finger though. Crispy from the outside but a lil dry from the inside. But I can dip it on the sauce though to give justice. The coleslaw is great man and the texas toast is superb. Customer service is efficient, they're friendly so far.

Maybe I'll give it another shot and appreciate american fast food even better like Cane's. Will surely be back! No photos attached because I haven't took any. Next time soon!

litteraly the best chicken on the entire planet
I took one bite of one of my tenders and had a full conversation with God about the future of chicken restaurants in hawaii
he told me "fear not my child, for I have sent down Cane's to feed my people." -

Raising Cane's is located in the building that houses Hale Mahana Apartments for college students on South King Street. Below the apartments, you'll find Raising Cane's along with Pieology, Starbucks, and Jersey Mike's. Parking is currently free in the garage, but spaces are limited to the ones marked "Retail." We've been here a bunch of times since they've opened. Even when busy, service is pretty quick. I'm not as big of a fan of chicken fingers/tenders as the rest of my family, but I really like their yummy secret dipping sauce. Wish they sold bottles of it. My husband and son love the toast and they always get two pieces. It isn't hard and super crunchy. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Nice stepping foot on University again. Glad to be back on my old stomping grounds. On my way to BeerLab, Cane's caught my eye, and I decided why not? I could go for some fried chicken.
The interior of Cane's is fire. I am a UH Warrior football fan all the way! I can definitely appreciate the large Warrior logos plastered all over every surface. Way to represent! Especially since my boys are doing so well this season!
But I have to admit I've never walked into a fried chicken place as nice as this joint. When all you know is KFC and Itchy Butt, this place is the Hilton, lol. Everything was clean, well lit, and trendy.
Food was easy to order and ready in the blink of an eye. The chicken had that signature crisp that should always accompany fried chicken, the special dipping sauce wasn't overly spicy and went very well with their crinkle cut fries. I'm not usually a fan of crinkle cut fries, but Cane's has changed the game. Price wasn't overwhelming, only $9.99 for a decent amount of food.
I'm not sure if I ran into the owner, but I ran into someone who is very hard working and devoted to the happiness of his customers. He greeted everyone who came in. He made sure to walk around asking everyone if they were enjoying the food. He also removed empty food trays and wiped down tables. What an exceptional person. You don't often receive such amazing service. Very well done sir.
Overall, Cane's is very nice place to stop by and enjoy some fried chicken, crinkle cut french fries, and some good ole Texas toast.
